Hey everyone. My name is Renee I am a lower junior at Brooklyn college. My major is communication and science disorders and my minor is Children and youth studies. I was born here in Brooklyn NY but my family is from Haiti and Barbados and I take pride in having an Caribbean background. I have several favorite childhood memories but I guess I will go with when my parents , my brothers , my sister and my self would go drive up to bear mountain to go have a picnic and go fishing and I caught my first fish at 7 years old….

I used to try fishing sometimes as a little girl. I grew up in Maine and my aunt had a cabin on a lake. She would give me bologna to use as bait, which is… not the most effective.
