Velveteen rabbit brought back many memories of 2nd grade class with Ms.Helen. It reminded me of another book I read called “Solo Leveling”. I definitely can imagine it being read aloud. The Skin Horse remarked, “Real isn’t how you are made.” It’s an occurrence that occurs to you. I remember reading Charlotte’s Web aloud with my father. He used to read some and have me read some to him. I had so much trouble saying Fern’s name. I would say “Thern” and he would keep correcting me. It was frustrating at the time but helped fix the speech problem I was having!
